Jake began his career at restaurants such as Coya, La Petite Maison and The Ritz, where he was one of the first students to participate in its culinary mentorship scheme and mastered the art of refined French cuisine.
Cinder was opened in Belsize Park in 2021. Shortly after, Jake opened a second site in St John’s Wood which shares the same open-grill centric and Mediterranean slant and was recently nominated in the Good Food Guide’s top 100 ‘Best Local Restaurants’, and a London frontrunner.
Jake presents a menu rooted in live-fire cooking and influences from the Mediterranean.
